MEN WITH FM
Now although I said that this site was geared towards the female prospective, I appreciate that men too can have FM and I want to hear your ways of dealing with this.
How do you juggle your life to work around having Fibromyalgia ?
As a man, you will probably have been the main bread winner, and this would be an additional burden on you if you are not able to work in the same way anymore, or have to give up work completely.
Men are meant to be the strong type, without the emotional side of females, but when you are struggling with an illness such as FM, it must be hard to 'be strong'
Do you as a man feel that you cannot let your family and friends know how you feel. Do you try and hide your emotions. Do you suffer from depression etc ?
We are here to support everyone with FM, men, women, children, and the relatives, helpers etc., who are all effected by this 'condition'
So open up, and let us in, don't try and struggle on, on your own.
If you can't get along to a support group, use this site for support. Send me an email for us to publish to say how you cope, and what 'help' you feel you need. Lets have you 'meeting up' with others via this site who are in a similar situation.Lets get the male prospective on dealing with FM. E mail admin@fibrofox.co.uk
If you need to have a chat on a one to one basis, send me an email with your contact details (and best time to call) and I'll get back to you a.s.ap.
I can generally only call back after 5pm week days or weekends, but if you need a call at another time, I will arrange for someone else to call you from our support team.
If you would prefer to converse by email, thats fine.
If you are a man and would like to join the support team, please let me know.
