AND FINALLY ..... THE EDITORS BLOG PAGE !
Hi there, and welcome to the editors blog.
My name is Maggie and Fibrofox was my concept.
The Fibro fox site has been running since April 2010 and I have tried to keep it up to date as much as possible, I have Fibro myself, so know the restrictions that this can put on you.
Anyone who fancies being an assistant editor, please let me know.
Also let me know if this site has helped you and what else you feel could be added to make it better.
A very warm welcome to those who have just come across the site, and thank you for the emails you have sent.
Hopefully if you can't make the meetings, you will still feel part of this group.
Well Christmas is fast approaching, presents to buy, and wrap, trees to put up (and take down again) decorations in every room, I feel quite exhausted thinking about it !!
Still I've completed about 80% of the present buying, I do it in stages with a fully able bodied person with me on each trip so that they can carry it all !
Putting up the decorations is the bit I find frustrating. I used to decorate the living room and the dining room, light s up everywhere inside the house and have lights up on the trees outside, all in a single day., now it takes me a whole day just to put the Christmas tree up, with individual branches to slot in - let alone decorate it. But I won't be helped - this is one chore I will finish myself - I love Christmas., even if putting up thedecorations now has to be in stages now.
Even cooking Christmas dinner is not daunting so long as you prepare as much as possible the day before and don't forget the list - I write down absolutely everything I have to cook or defrost, times it all takes, whether the stuff is in the fridge, the freezer or the 'goodies box' so that nothing can be overlooked.
I will write a special 'preparing for Christmas' article in December.
Take care, don't overdo it ..
love Maggie xxx
