About The Support Group
The South & South East Essex support Group started up in November 2008 and meets mainly in the Leigh on Sea area. We cover Southend, Rochford, Castlepoint and Basildon Council areas, but extend our welcome out to the Thurrock area who have 'disbanded' their local support group.
Basically we cover the whole of this corner of Essex , from Thurrock out to Basildon and Billericay and all the way across to Shoeburyness
Anyone from any area is welcome to attend our meetings.
We meet monthly, one month socially for a lunch or breakfast, and the other month is a more formal meeting, with guest speakers on several occasions.
